Tipping with rain
The weather signs weren’t looking good, even as I drove towards Wild Acres. Very heavy showers were punctuated by periods of light rain and grey skies.
My main priority today was to get the wildflower seed down and rake off some excess grass from areas that had been cut recently in the meadow. I managed to get both done, but spent most of the time under the outdoor shelter helping in the kitchen.
Martin cooked a really tasty lunch of honey roasted butternut squash, which I thought had an amazing texture and I took a spare helping home to freeze.
Just after lunch, it really battered down all over the area.
In the afternoon, I headed over to the library for the second Dursley Code Club of the week. Seven of the usual regulars who all made very diligent progress on their individual projects, whether on scratch or a website.
